Drawing: Portraits

So school has been all about new challenges lately, which is good. While it is fun to have easy classes that you already know everything, it's better to be learning and growing and expanding your knowledge.

Last week it was Chopin that had me feeling stretched. This week it is drawing. We did a self portrait in art class (which I will not show you under any circumstances). It was a painful experience. After our self portrait we were given the task of doing someone else's portrait....that did not go any better than the first one. :P

So here's the lovely portrait I did of a very dear person I love. It looks absolutely nothing like the person.

But it looks more human than the self portrait I did!
